• Construction: Profile Bar screens are constructed using a unique assembly method that involves U-shaped clips and retaining pins, significantly enhancing their strength and resistance to bending. In contrast, wedge wires are typically welded.
• Assembly: The U-shaped clips and retaining pins used in Profile Bar Screens ensure the bars are firmly in place, preventing bending or tilting. Wedge wire screens rely on resistance spot welding or TIG welding.
• Support spacing: The stronger bars on Profile Bar screens allow for greater spacing between support rods. Wedge wire screens typically have closer support spacing.
